Dr. Sadia Khan is a breast surgical oncologist currently practicing at the Hoag Breast Center in Newport Beach, Calif. Dr. Khan serves as advisor to the Hoag Breast Care Program where she advocates for new and comprehensive care for the women she serves. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin and completed her medical degree with honors at Touro University College of Medicine. Dr. Khan completed general surgery training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she was elected administrative chief resident and was awarded resident of the year. She then went on to complete a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Southern California. Dr. Khan was elected as the first Muzzy Family Endowed Fellow in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery while at Hoag. She is a board-certified general surgeon.
Dr. Khan holds membership with the following prestigious professional organizations: American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons. Her work has been published in prominent peer-reviewed scientific journals and she has been an invited speaker and presented at numerous national conferences.
Dr. Khan is currently an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Her areas of expertise include oncoplastic breast surgery, extreme oncoplasty, nipple-sparing mastectomy, intraoperative radiation therapy techniques, young and high-risk women, and providing compassionate care for women with all breast diseases.
